Pastoral Care Team (PCT)

The Pastoral Care Team are a group of people with a recognised gift and passion to care for others. The team has people experienced in pastoral care who can provide additional support to the home group system; they are all skilled listeners and trained in prayer ministry.

* You can contact any member of the team if you require support or wish to talk through any issues.
* If you need ongoing support this can be discussed and arranged.
* If your circumstances require expertise beyond the skills of the group they can assist in finding the support you need.
* The group has access to others in the church who are willing to assist through providing practical help, prayer support, hospital or home visiting.

Authorised Pastoral Assistants (APAs)

APAs are people with a recognised call to pastoral ministry who have undertaken a three year course with the Diocese of Durham Council for Ministry.  Karen Snowden was licensed as an APA in July 2010. Chris Vass and Jayne Davies began their training in September 2011.
