Funerals

We are sorry if you have recently suffered the loss of a loved one. Bereavement is obviously a painful time. We have published a very short booklet which explains the process of grief and loss which you may find helpful.

A Funeral Director will help you with the legal formalities and will make arrangements on your behalf to organise the funeral. For your convenience we have listed below two local ones who we know and have worked with often in the past, though you can of course choose any Funeral Director you wish. Usually, the Funeral Director will liaise with one of our ministers to agree a date and time for the funeral. Once we are aware of the details we will arrange to pay you a visit in order to meet you and plan the ceremony.
