Jonah Sermon Series

Morning Services 2 September – 7 October 2018

“Jonah and the Whale” (along with Noah’s Ark and Daniel in the Lion’s Den) is one of the best known stories in the Old Testament.

All three stories appeal to children because they involve high drama and animals so they are enduring Sunday School favourites.

But the Book of Jonah is not in the Bible as a kind of children’s cartoon supplement – and there’s no mention anywhere in the Bible of a whale, by the way.

The book of Jonah has a surprising -even shocking- and certainly contemporary message and that’s what we’ll be trying to get to grips with this autumn at All Saints’.

All aboard! We hope you’ll join us.

Morning services are at 9am and 10.30am.
