All Saints’ places a strong emphasis on being a friendly place for children and families to come and experience fun, welcome and the love of God in a safe environment.
Our Children’s & Families worker and her team have lots of things you can get involved in, and children attending our Sunday services have their own fun and creative ways of doing church.
Sunday Mornings
Children are welcome at any of our services, and there is an area at the back of church where children can play with toys during the service.
During our 10.45am service, we provide three Sunday groups based on age: Gems (for 0-4s), Sparklers (for 5-7s) and Trailblazers (8-11s).
Children start in the 10.45am service and, after a worship time, go into our groups where we play games, learn about faith and get to know one another. Our Trailblazers and Sparklers leaders bring the children back into church, and we ask parents/carers of our Gems to come and collect them towards the end of the service
Midweek
Toddler Group – Thursdays 9.30am-11.30am (term time)
For babies up to approx. 3 ½ and their parents or carers.
Our session includes play time with a wide variety of toys provided, followed with a fun song time for everyone to enjoy at the end.
It is a friendly and caring group with opportunity for all ages to make friends and find support. Hot drinks and biscuits are provided. Please bring a drink for your little one. Cost per session – £2 per family. Just turn up!
God’s Giants Group – Thursdays (fortnightly) 4pm-5.15pm (term time)
A Life Group for those in primary school years 5 & 6. We love having fun together and building friendships through sport, games, craft and snacks, as well as time to explore more of the Bible and being a disciple of Jesus. We also enjoy termly trips out together.
Family Life Group – Mondays at 10.30am-12pm (term time)
We meet in the Meeting Room, please come along with your little ones and join us.
Baby Saints Wednesdays 10.30am – 12pm (term time)
This group is in the Meeting Room (near the main church door off Dunottar Avenue) and is a free group for parents and carers and their babies to play, relax & connect. This group is for newborns up to confidently walking babies and we have sensory play, song time, hot drinks and snacks.
