I’m New

It can be daunting going to a church service for the first time or after having been away for a while. We try to make our Sunday services as welcoming and understandable to anyone joining us for the first time as we can.

Please sit anywhere you would like to. There are comfortable chairs throughout rather than wooden pews.

If you have recently joined us, or are thinking of joining us, please click here and you will be able to send us your details so that we can contact you.

Our Sunday morning services are at 9am & 10.30am and you can find our more about this by clicking here.

We also hold Discovery Church on some Sunday afternoons, please see our Calendar or click here to contact us to find out more about Discovery Church.

Church is not just on Sunday though. There are other services and events happening at All Saints’ during the week too.

The way in to all our morning services is through the glazed oak door on Dunottar Avenue.

The way in to Discovery Church is through the glass doors into the Centre by the car park.

Both entrances include ramped disabled access.

There is limited parking in the church car park. Parking is free in the surrounding streets on Sundays. As it is a residential area, please park considerately to allow our neighbours in Dunottar Avenue access to and from their drives. Parking is also available in the surrounding roads: Quarry Road, Ashville Avenue and Clifton Avenue.

Most people dress informally but there are a few who like to come a bit smarter.

It honestly doesn’t matter at all what you wear – come however you feel most comfortable.

Yes. Children are really welcome at all our services.

Our 10.30am services are more popular with families though because we offer a full range of activities for children and young people at this time including for very little ones.  Alternatively, if you prefer we have a small area  in the church where you can sit with your small children, with toy mats on the floor and some toys and books.

There is also a quiet, private space available if you need to feed a baby.

Our Discovery Church, is specifically designed for families with young children and is not like traditional church at all.

Yes. Toilets are situated on the left of where you come in, whether you arrive through the Dunottar Avenue entrance or through the Centre entrance.

There are disabled toilets and also facilities for nappy changing at both ends of the building.

No. As someone who is new to church, please just come and enjoy. Most people give for the works of the church either using the wooden plate at the back of church, the contactless giving machine in the centre lobby or direct debit.

After each morning service, tea and coffee are served and there’s plenty of opportunity to chat to people if you want to stay behind. Refreshments are offered free of charge.

Also, after our services there are people on hand from our prayer team to pray with you in all confidence if you wish.

Would you like to come to church but don’t want to come by yourself? Or do you just want someone to show you around? Then we can provide someone to help. Just ask someone on the door or someone with a Welcome badge like the one below and they will introduce you to someone friendly.

If you would like more information about our servies or events at All Saints’, you can call in on a weekday morning between 9am-12pm or telephone us on 01642 783814 or email us by clicking here.
